The Long and Short of It !

For the vast majority of guys the idea of wearing shorts like this would be unthinkable… but only because we (men) have spent so many years wearing very long baggy shorts… shorts that most women don’t find attractive in any way whatsoever.

But the idea of men wearing fashion that shows off their legs is nothing new. In the television series Magnum P.I., Tom Selleck wore short Navy-issue swim shorts back in the 80’s. See photo below.....

But don’t worry guys… you won’t have to even consider wearing short shorts for a few years yet… because it will take that long for the concept to gradually filter down through the fashion industry.

The fashion designers have to try and come up with new innovations every season… which is why many fashion ideas are cyclic… reappearing every few decades as an exciting new trend. It's how the industry makes money... by constantly offering new trends that they hope you'll find attractive enough to follow.

However shorts like this should come with a warning : Women would prefer that shorts this short are only worn if you actually have reasonably good legs, and a nice butt.

It’s a primal thing… perfectly natural… women are hard-wired to enjoy looking at a fit mature male body. It doesn't mean that they want to have sex with you... it just means that they find the look to be pleasing to the eye.

But if you're single, keep in mind that the more women you can attract, the more you have to choose a potential mate from!

As proof of this primal attraction, here’s a link to a short article (by a woman) in praise of Bradley Cooper’s ridiculously short shorts in the top photo :

For those readers living in the Northern Hemisphere, here’s a link to a blog post on understanding the primal nature of swimwear. Over the last four Summers, it has proven to be one of my most popular posts :

It's a Primal Thing.

  1. Magnum wasn't the only guy in the 80's, and it wasn't always swim shorts, he wore regular shorts like that too. For proof watch any pre-1991 NBA game, and look at the shorts, then say they're swimming shorts!
